I love spring. I love the damp, rich, smell after a spring storm and the cool refreshing breezes that whisper over the meadows. I love listening to the cheery cries of the songbirds flitting among the gentle glow of the rising sun. I love the sweet aroma of violets and apple blossoms, the vibrant green of fresh grass as I wander through dewy pastures. Everywhere I look is a beautiful promise of new life.

It's a new week! Bright and full of possibilities but still cold and so snowy! I love the snow, but today, I'm longing for summer; for sunshine and trail rides and beach days, for bonfires and ice-cream cones. So, in hopes to make summer days feel a little closer I've decided to share one of my favorite photoshoots from last summer, one of my siblings (of course) and their faithful ponies.
Finally, I have a chance to post some New Year’s updates! If you’re reading this, you’ve probably noticed some changes around my blog lately. I’m excited to share more about that in a bit! For now though, a quick thought on New Year’s Resolutions.
